Description

Architects and draftsmen on the steps leading to the drafting room of Perry, Shaw, and Hepburn in Williamsburg, Virginia. First row: Nelson Kenworthy, Construction Superintendent for Todd and Brown Inc., David J. Hayes, David(?) Traphagen, Tom Waterman. Second row: Miss Bovan, George Campbell, Singleton P. Moorehead.

The mid-nineteenth century ancillary building stood near the Bowden-Armistead House and had long served as the Episcopal parish house. The upper floor was the drafting room for the restoration team headed by architects Perry, Shaw and Hepburn and the lower floor served as an office for the project.
