Recto and verso, photo of excavated foundations at the Chiswell-Bucktrout House archaeological site, Williamsburg, Virginia. Notation on verso reads: "This photo was taken inside of the present Chiswell or Freeman House and shows the fragmented remains of an earlier building. The foundation in the foreground appears to have been the SW corner of the earlier building. The S. side of the chimney to early building can be noted just inside of present building foundation. See archaeological drawing Block 2, Area H."
