One of a series of ten photo albums encompassing images from the late 1940s to early 1950s of sites at Colonial Williamsburg, various counties in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and South Carolina, and Great Britain. Album Six focuses upon Virginia architecture and contains overall and detail views of architectural features on churches, residences, and outbuildings in Williamsburg, Virginia and Urbanna, Tappahannock, Port Royal, and Essex County, Virginia. Houses and shops at Colonial Williamsburg that are pictured in the album include the Raleigh Tavern, the Davidson Shop, the Margaret Hunter Shop, the Elkanah Deane House, the James Geddy House, Bassett Hall, the John Blair House, the James Anderson House, the St. George Tucker House, the Orlando Jones House, the Prentis House, the Moody House, the Ewing House, and the Galt Cottage. The album also includes a series of detail photos of different types of gates and gate hardware.
