Description
Building formerly used as the Bruton Parish House which provided temporary office space for a portion of the Williamsburg, Virginia office of architects Perry, Shaw, and Hepburn during the restoration and reconstruction of Williamsburg's historic district.
This mid-nineteenth century ancillary building stood near the Bowden-Armistead House and had long served as the Episcopal parish house. The upper floor was the first drafting room for the restoration team headed by architects Perry, Shaw and Hepburn and the lower floor served as an office for the project.
