View looking towards the John Barrows Memorial Sundial on the south side of the Bruton Parish churchyard with the Restoration House, where many of the Williamsburg Restoration staff initially boarded, visible across Duke of Gloucester Street, Williamsburg, Virginia. John A. Barrows worked as an architectural draftsman for the Williamsburg office of architects Perry, Shaw & Hepburn from 1928 until his untimely death in 1931. His colleagues erected this memorial in the Bruton Parish churchyard in his honor.
